Our educational project aims to develop rigorously the key knowledge and competencies to ensure the formative continuity of boys and girls, as well as to accompany them in the construction of their personalities. Values such as effort, perseverance, resilience, companionship, tolerance, cooperation, self-knowledge, critical spirit, rigorousness, and systematic study and work habits define us as a school.<\/p>\n

During a third part of the timetable, we work systematically on Catalan, Spanish and Mathematics, which are the basis for later being able to solve different situations and consolidate the specific competences and fundamental knowledge of this stage.<\/p>\n

\n Learning Spaces <\/h2>\n
\n

Learning Spaces are structured on the basis of a flexible organization of the students. They are learning, communication and relationship scenarios where they explore freely with different materials and proposals related to a topic.<\/p>\n

Activities are shared and challenges are solved with students from the different reference groups.<\/p>\n

In these spaces, which are of free choice, the children are the main actors and teachers, basically, design, organize, promote and evaluate this process.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n Simultaneous Activities <\/h2>\n
\n

The Simultaneous Activities are proposals where boys and girls, distributed in small groups, carry out activities in an autonomous way and learn to self-know, self-manage and self-regulate. The teachers design the proposal, make learning more dynamic and carry out individualized observation.<\/p>\n

The organization of the class and the spaces with these activities implies a distribution that makes possible the work of small groups that simultaneously carry out different activities, which are open-ended enough so that they can adapt to the different developmental paces and thus promote autonomy.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n K\u00f3smos Space <\/h2>\n
\n

K\u00f3smos Space is structured around projects as central axis are Natural and Social Sciences. These projects are cross-disciplinary and connected with other subject areas. They are based on various learning situations and are often organized into cooperative work groups. The aim is for students to develop reasoning strategies while acquiring new knowledge in these areas.<\/p>\n

To work on these projects, we start by analysing a situation or problem tied to the objectives to be addressed, which guide the investigation and, consequently, the acquisition of knowledge. Critical thinking and creativity are also intensively developed throughout the process.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

\n Libri Space <\/h2>\n
\n

Libri Space includes, in an integrated way, learning objectives from different areas of the linguistic field. As a methodology we use the learning boxes that allow the acquisition of knowledge and skills specific to this area by promoting reflection, question solving, the ability to learn by themselves and teamwork.<\/p>\n

The learning boxes are guided proposals for research, experimentation and construction of knowledge and skills designed by the teaching team and carried out autonomously by the children in small groups.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n Bit\u00e1cola Space <\/h2>\n
\n

In the Bitacola Space, we carry out activities in the areas of Mathematics and Catalan Language based on multi-levelled proposals that allow everyone to work according to their skills and pace of work. The objective is that students have the possibility of choosing different options and that everyone can reach their maximum level.<\/p>\n

The activities are grouped by levels of difficulty, from simple reproduction to the application of knowledge and reflection. The adult accompanies them so that they can manage their learning and find the tools to learn, correct and improve themselves.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n Projects <\/h2>\n

ART x TWO is a Sensorial, Visual and Plastic Education project that works in Catalan and English at the same time. It is based on audio-visual resources of own creation where the main characters are native English teachers who reinforce the specific vocabulary of the area and the basic language structures.<\/p>\n

The Creativity in Movement project intends that physical activity is seen as a tool that helps to have a good quality of life. It gives students a leading role, autonomy, cooperation, coeducation and responsibility. In the first cycle, during the sessions we work in Spanish while in the third cycle, we do it in English.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\t

    The organisation of the Education Project in Primary<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Blok 1: Knowledge and key competencies (systematic work of core areas)<\/li>\n
    • Blok 2: Globalised learning spaces<\/li>\n
    • Blok 3: Specific projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      We evaluate the competencies in four levels of achievement that are a graduation of the acquired knowledge, of the autonomy of each child in his or her learning process, of his or her own awareness of progress and of the strategies for improvement.<\/p>\n

      In the reports we also incorporate qualitative observations, highlighting areas where you, the families, can help to improve.<\/span><\/p>\n \t<\/div>\n \t<\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\n
